WELL DONE to all the competitors in the Durham Heat of Talent Quest. Results as follows:

- KITTI-KATZ: WON Newcomer Section with Ugly Bug Ball AND Under 13 Group Section with Part of Your World.

- DANCING DOLLS: WON Newcomer Section with O Fortuna AND Over 14 Group Section with Waltz of the Flowers.

Troupetastic

Troupetastic was a great success. This performance on stage allowed members of the troupe to show family and friends all the pieces they have worked on since the troupe started. DVDs will be available in September with profits going towards the troupe fund for future events.

We also had members of the adult Tap and Bollywood classes…

Washington Old Hall

The Troupe's demonstration at Washington Old Hall for their Independence Day Celebrations went well. Our American themed dances included Dallas, Cotton Eyed Joe, Mickey Mouse March, Bing Bang from Lazytown, a dance from West Side Story and lots of Cheerleading.

The standard was very high this year and we were up against three large groups from Edinburgh and York as well as a couple of local schools, most of whom travel the country competing regularly…

Decision made to change to BBO

One of our 15 year old students, Charlotte, has just been accepted into Northern Ballet School in Manchester and Ballet West in Scotland to train to become a professional ballet dancer!
