ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL: One of our 10 year old students has just been accepted into the Junior Associate Programme run by the Royal Ballet School. Abigail joined us just last year and was immediately advised by Clare to audition for the course. Although she showed great potential, at that time she had very little technical knowledge having studied almost no ballet at her previous school.
After a year of training with Prima she auditioned again and has been accepted! This is the top associate programme in the UK and extremely difficult to get into. Only a handful of students out of the hundreds of hopefuls are acccepted each year. She will now attend fortnightly classes in Leeds and will be taught by the most renowned teachers in the UK who will groom her for potential entry into Year 7 at the Royal Ballet School, which is of course the top school in the UK and one of the best in the world.

BALLET WEST: Charlotte, Amber and Jessica, all aged 8, have been accepted into the Aspiring Professionals course run by Ballet West. This programme is by application and audition and is aimed specifically at talented students who aspire to a career in professional dance.
The girls attend monthly classes in Edinburgh with top teachers, alongside their regular classes at Prima. They also have the opportunity to perform with Ballet West.
ENGLISH YOUTH BALLET: Charlotte, aged 8, has been accepted into the English Youth Ballet who she will perform with in 2010.
PRESTON PROFESSIONAL DANCE COLLEGE: After 2 auditions and interview Elisha has been accepted onto the full time 3 year professional dancers course at Preston College. There she will study a variety of dance techniques in order to prepare her for a career in dance. She will also undertake teacher training there.

ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET: Charlotte, aged 8, has been shortlisted in the national competition and will attend the final in October.
NEWCASTLE COLLEGE: Natasha Ball, Loren Askew and Laura Smith, all aged 16 were accepted onto the Dance programme at Newcastle College. Natasha has studied with Prima for 2 years, Loren just a matter of months although she studied elsewhere previously. Laura attended Prima several years ago for a number of years and she returned in 2008 to prepare for college entry.
