Nikki is a graduate of Bodywork Company Dance Studio (a full time vocational stage school in Cambridge), where she was awarded a scholarship to fund her place and earned a Diploma in Musical Theatre. She also holds a National Diploma in Dance from Newcastle College. Throughout her dance training Nikki studied Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Singing, Acting, Choreography and Theory work.
Nikki started work at Prima in January 2007 and began her Associate Teacher training with the IDTA at the same time. She is a highly enthusiastic teacher and very much enjoys working with children.
She has taught at various workshops in the region, has sung professionally and she holds a YMCA Exercise to Music qualification as well as first aid training. She has also attend a course in the teaching of break dancing, some of these moves are incorporated into her Street Jazz class.
As part of her teacher training programme, Nikki is required to undertake various training courses on a regular basis. She also has Enhanced Disclosure (commonly known as a police clearance) as standard at Prima.
