Helen is currently providing temporary cover for Prima whilst we recruit a new permanent teacher.
Helen is a former student of Prima School of Performing Arts. Since then she has gone on to receive special commendations for Theatre Craft and Modern Jazz and won an IDTA Tyneside bursary for 2 years running.
She trained as a professional dancer at Theatreworks in Blackpool. During her training there she appeared in numerous productions of 'The Works' at the Paradise Rooms, Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Helen has appeared in six pantomimes at The Journal Tyne Theatre, most recently as Dance Captain and is currently preparing for a UK Theatre Tour in Viva Broadway.
Helen is a qualified Associate Teacher of the International Dance Teachers' Association.
She is trained in a variety of techniques including Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Commercial Jazz, Street Dance and Acro.
